Has it really been that long ?????

Hey well it's been a crazy end of summer and an amazing Fall this far. This is a fairly large post to catch everyone up on our journys.

Well Way back at the end of the summer we went to Cedar Point in Sandusky OH with my family. I grew up going there and love it so much! So my sister and all my nieces and nephews and well just abou the whole gang was there. Here are some pics.

Well after that trip we drove the kids up north to go camping with friends of ours while Ben and I headed to Florida for a Worship Conference. Here is a pic or two of Ben and I and some of the kids camping. After we got back from Florida we went up north to Mackinaw and went camping with the kids!!! So much fun but we were so TIRED!!!

Then we had a big shock happen we got a call that Ben's mom was having emergency heart surgery. So we made arrangements for the kids and got on the next Flight to Atlanta. She ended up having a quadroople bypass! She is doing fine now and healing. We threw her a mini bday party in the hospital before her surgery.

Then while we were in Georgia and the kids were in Michigan a Tornado Hit!

Madalynne is officially in Pre-K! She loves it she is in 4 days a week! my big girl!

Spicers Orchard! We went and picked Apples and we went and got our family pumpkins!

So there is an update....Oh and I almost forgot if you have not heard we are having baby number 3 somtime next spring! I am about 11 weeks now!!! We have no idea if its a boy or girl but here are the names we have picked out:

Girl: Ellianna Rejoyce
Boy: Judah Benjamin

After all my medical problems this year we are so blessed to have this little one in our lives!

Okay well we have been super busy since the 4th of July. A trip to Florida , Cedar Point, a camping trip up North, Re arranging the whole worship team , tryouts, kids, Cookouts, Young Marrieds is back in gear. Wow i'm wore out thinking about our last few weeks!

Well anyways i am back to posting on a regular basis!

Fourth of July

Wow Thanks everyone for the prayers....it was pouring down rain in the morning but the skys opened up for the parade..we passed out close to 12,000 popsicles, candy and tickets and got to talk to so many people about Jesus it was so fun!

Then with Severe thunderstorms in the forcast and the skys turning grey thousands of dollars of equipment and rides at stake God opened up the sky with a beautiful sunshine...NOT A SINGLE DROP FELL THE ENTIRE EVENT.

SO many lives were touched, so many found Jesus, so many people were loved and honored!

YEAH GOD!!!

Whoever said moms can't have fun!

So today i was reading about Sarah and Abraham and wow. That women is seriously my hero right now.

She moved away from everything she has ever known to follow her husbands calling... (been there)

She was taken capture to become a harem twice...(Thank the Lord we don't have to do that anymore)

She was barren...(Thank- ou Jesus that i don't have to have that pain)

She suffered in famen and moved again....

I think the biggest thing is not only did she just trust God she trusted Abraham her husband her lover. She didn't cuss him out or get snotty when she couldn't get pregnant. She didn't demand a palace or new linens when they were forced to flea. She didnt' question Gods calling... She just went.

Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:23

Sarah was amazing with character and integrity she held onto Gods promises and at the age of 90 bore a beautiful son!!
Come on how many of us have that kind of faith eh?

1Now faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.

Now it just dawned on me that God has us wait for things for a reason.....

* It will increase the meaning behind the promise.... When we get what he promised it will be so much more of a meaning. That God gave us something that was so important. Having a desire for something makes it sweeter when you get it.

"There is a time for everything,
and a season for every activity under heaven" Ecc 3:1

*Waiting increases our Faith! We have to trust God our father our daddy. We have to embrace that he loves us enough to provide for us and give us his promises.

"Praise be to the LORD, who has given rest to his people Israel just as he promised. Not one word has failed of all the good promises he gave through his servant Moses. 1 Kings 56:3

So my goal: TO TRUST GOD FOR:

The Peace of my family and other families.

Marriages to be restored

The sell of our Condo along with the sell of my friends homes (cheryl,melanie,PA & Brooke)

That God will provide for families in our congergation in a time of horrible economic depression

More goals to trust my hubby unconditionally that he is hearing from God!

How could something so stinking cute be such a challenge? Connor Benjamin is so handsome and is adorable as they come but his attitude and Temper are reminding me of what i grew up in. An atmosphere of yelling, and no peace. I am going to do my best this week to stay calm even thru his fits but love him and be firm all in the same breath. Oh help me God!

Relay For Life Fri/Sat

What an amazing time and experience. I had never been apart of this before and i was completley touched and moved. My friend Su is a Survivor of breast cancer and i thought i would help her out this year. We as a worship team did two hours of worship at the entertainment stage! It was so awesome!

Then later that evening during a luminary ceremony me and my husband sang "I'll stand by You". Then we stayed up all night! The next day we did a car show and a pancake breakfast.

When i got home i was so wooped by husband was amazing he cleaned out my car, mowed the front yard, watched our two kids plus another two kids i said i would watch and then he made dinner!

I love this man so much!!!

Dessert Cheese Ball

Ingredients:
1- Cream Cheese
1 Stick butter
1/4 tsp Vanilla
3/4 cup powdered sugar
2 T brown sugar
3/4 cup mini choc chips
3/4 cup toffee bits
Graham Crakers

Take the Cream cheese,butter & Vanilla and mix well until fluffy. Then add the sugars. Once blended stir in choc.chips and toffee bites.

Pop into Fridge for 2 hours stir, put in fridge again until chilled really well. Serve with Graham Crakers or Vanilla Wafers.

WELL 10 MILES TODAY! We did it on the bike and it felt amazing!!!
I can't wait to make this normal for me everyday!
Anyways. Thanks to everyone who supported us in raising $ for the church!
The kids had a blast too.

Also, The purse party tonight was lots of fun!

I also got my hair done really funky yesterday here is a pic. Its almost dark black with a chunck of blonde in it! It's all spikey. This picture is hard to see but hey it's something eh.

Another Feel Good Day!

We got up with Madalynne & Connor and we decided to walk today instead of biking/running. We walked a little over 4 miles and saw some great things. Geese,swans, a turtle laying it's eggs (Madalynne loved that).Anyways this exercising has become something really enjoyable!

Tomorrow we will do the whole 10 on the bikes.

The rest of the day was great! I got a fun new funky hair dew. Really funky!

Ucky Rainy Day

Well with the kidos being sick....hubby got it :(

We decided that with it raining and Ben being sick that we would for go the walking/biking/riding for today and start back up tom.

I go today at 1:00 to look at the preschool we are sending Madalynne to this Fall :( She is not old enough to start Kindergarton becasue of where her birthday falls.

Then tonight we have Worship Team practice.

Thanks God for a beautiful day inspite of the rain (that we so desperetly need).

A feeling of greatness

So after a long Sunday of sick kidos Our Monday was sure to be good.

We got to Kensington Park to do our 10 miles (refer to post below) and guess what my bike was broke :( So hubby took the kids and they rode behind his bike and i decided i'm going to conquer this trail anyway. So i ran/walked 8 miles. Not the full ten like i was hoping to but I am proud that i indeed did 8!

My whole family was in bed by 8:45 PM! An awesome night of sleep.

Napa Salad

More of a summery recipe but we like it any time of the year served with soup, or sandwhich.

Salad Base
3-4 Cooked Chicken Breast (chopped up)
salt
pepper
1 Head Chooped Napa Cabbage Head
1 Head Romain Chopped Lettuce
5-6 Green Onions Chopped
2 packages Romain noodles Crushed
1/2 Cup Almonds-sliced
1/2 Stick Butter

Dressing
1 Cup Canola Oil
2 TBS Soy Sauce
1 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup White Vinegar

Directions:
Mix up all Salad Ingredients. Then Mix all Salad Dressing Ingredients on medium heat until it simmers a bit. I then put in a container and shake up and pour over Salad.

Feel free to add more Roman Noodles or Sesame Seeds

Yummy Potato Soup

Super Easy and Super yummy

6 Cups Diced, peeled potatoes
5 Cups Water
2 Cups Diced Onion
1/2 Cup diced Celery
1/2 cup Carrots
1/4 Cupmargarine or butter
4tsp. Chicken bouillon granules
2tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
12 oz can evaporated milk
8 oz cheddar cheese

Directions
1) Combine all ingredients except milk and cheese in slow cooker/crock pot. (I always add a little extra butter and a little extra chicken granules, I also add some garlic salt)

2) Cover. Cook on High 7-8 Hours or until vegies are tender.

3) Stir in milk. Stir in Cheese until it melts. Make sure it's heated up well.

Garnish with Bacon, and Green Onion or Parsly.
Have crackers at hand yummy soup.

Crazy Week

Well this week is sure to be crazy! We are doing a fundraiser this week. Each ministry is raising money for their own needs.
We will all be doing this together as a church/Staff!
We are running,biking,walking 10 miles each day. We collected pledges to support us! Check daily to see my exhaustion report! We are biking the 10 miles becasue we will have our 20 month old and 4 year old with us! They will be riding behind us in a thing that our bike pulls.

We also Have this Week a Relay for life meeting! Only two more weeks until relay! whoo hoo! GO girls!

I also have a purse party with Cheryl at my house on Thursday! We sell legal really cute boutique purses for some extra cash!

And last but not least i fly out to Missiouri on Friday with some ladies for a friends wedding! While i'm gone my hubby has band practice the two kids, young marrieds small group at our house!

A full week ahead! Whoo hoo!

Living in the "Fishbowl"

You know sometimes its so hard to be in the "fishbowl" and letting everyone in, and everyone seeing what's going on in your life and your life being an open book ect... well.... isn't that what he has called us to do. To live Out loud to let our light shine before men?

If we are living a lifestyle to honor God and living a lifestyle of worship in everything we do we should be honored that God would choose us to to be in the "fishbowl" that we have something amazing in our lives.

Our Lives of worship

Why do church memebers have to argue over silly things. Why can't we just love like God has called us to.
I'm so tired of people critisizing the music and saying if you have lights that's not worship and it's not respectful, if you have videos it's not respectful or it's not "church" if you do this and that....it's not worship.

Well I'm so tired of it and i just want people to know that worship is a lifestyle, the way we walk, talk, brethe, our every action is worship. NOT THE SONG SERVICE.

I came to the realazation that we are not "Worship Pastors" We are just tools in Gods hand that are orchastrating something so Great....the privelage and honor of ushering in his prescense!

Its not about what songs are played or the lights or anything it's about giving people the opportunity to sacrafice something so big in their day, themselves and lay it at our Daddys feet!

Just remember sacrafice should cost you something otherwise it's not sacrafice.

Love God today with everything. Thank him for all the blessings he has given you. The air, your house, your family!

I am a daughter of the most high, a wife to the most wonderful man in the whole world and a mother to two beautiful miracles. Ben and I just had our five year anniversary.

Madalynne just turned 4 it's so hard to believe time goes this fast.
Connor is almost 20 months and is such a ham.

My husband and i serve as worship and Creative Arts pastors @ The Freedom Center in Fenton MI. We love it sooo much! We are blessed to have the greatest mentors and friends as our pastors. We love them dearly.

I love to sing, write and direct dramas, I love to go on dates with my hubby and play with my children. I enjoy decorating and shopping and finding the greatest deals! I must say i live close to some of the greatest outlet malls ever! Need something from Pottery Barn, Gymboree, Childrens Place let me know i'll find it! I absolutley love to entertain! I enjoy the cooking and the cleaning and the organazation of it all. I love to Garden, make crafts, and sew. I love candles and herbs and fresh made soaps. I like to read a book on nice Spring or Summer days out on my front porch while i drink a glass of sweet tea. I love to Vacation, and make memories.I love the smell of Rain on a spring day.

I love to love people and serve them. Most importantly i love serving Jesus my lord my daddy.

I created this blog becasue for so long i have listened to the enemy tell me i have nothing to offer other women. Well today i am stepping out and creating a blog for anyone who is a daughter of our King.We all have created for our father & he loves each of us as his own. We have all been tested and we have all went thru trials.

I have been thru an amazing amount of Pain & joy in the last 5 years and becasue of an amazing God and a wonderful pastors wife I am Coming out and using my test as my testimony, and using my mess as my message.

I want women to come here and be encouraged, feel safe, and be real.
